With Social Media up on the rise with different sharing possibilities for your photos there are many chances for people to click and save your pictures. I have no problem with people sharing my pictures just as long as they give credit back to me. I love how we have the technology to share with our family and friends pictures, websites, and our own photos but the line ends when you steal pictures and try to be the creator/author of the picture.
Lately I have been dealing with this very same situation - people stealing my pictures and claiming them as their own even helping promote their business. I do not understand why people must do this? You are only giving false advertisement to your clients saying you can do this type of style. Ok, if you can copy my work then great, you are a wonderful artist. But you didn't do this work why must you take credit for this? If you love to do makeup and it is your passion you should be able to create your own works of art but instead you steal other's work? I don't understand. It blows my mind what people now a days do. There's no way to stop it (even with my watermark villabeautifful.com or villabeautifful they steal take the pics and claim it as their own).
This post is just to clarify to others out there who see my pics (other than the handle of VILLABEAUTIFFUL) and come back to my blog that the person you supposed are admiring their work is an IMPOSTER. I AM THE REAL VILLABEAUTIFFUL.
I will still continue to post my MOTD'S and this will not stop me. Keep stealing my pics and do whatever you do with them, just know my TRUE followers always tell me. I always research who these people are and I am secretly following YOU!
